Here is a great "emotional first-aid" help for those occasions when you’re feeling upset and stressed. It is a great self-help tool and can be easily applied by yourself to relieve such stressful phases very easily.

Hold your frontal eminences  (acupoints on your forehead between eyebrows and hairline) as below:

either with the first two fingers of your hands (both simultaneously - see illustration) or place palm of hand flat on your forehead. Apply very light pressure.

Now in your mind, whilst applying light pressure, go over exactly how you are feeling about the problem. Continue holding points and going over what’s bothering you for a few minutes and/or until you feel the emotion receding.

Now, let go for a moment, look around you, and mentally review the issue once again. If your stressful feelings are still there or have changed to others, such as anger, etc., then go back to step one.

After a further minute or longer, release the pressure and check your feelings about the situation again.

You’ll find that your mind feels clearer, and that the same emotions no longer apply the same amount of stress or strain. This technique can be used for any similar types of negative feelings, fears or other related emotional or mental stresses.

Why not try it out next time you feel stressed?

This is one of the many techniques you can gain from learning Kinesiology.
