main chakras within the physical body. The purpose of the chakras is to
serve as a connection between our energetic body (variously described as
etheric vehicle, light body or aura), and our physical body.

replicated on a physical level by the endocrine gland system. This endocrine
gland system is responsible for the production of hormones, which if taken
on a very basic level, can be said to be responsible for our well-being (or
lack of it), both emotionally and physically.
